I just purchased singer 3232 sew simple and I like it. I am trying to sew a quilt together and I may be asking too much of this machine. It doesn't seem to want to sew thru layers of fabric without "bird caging". Am I not doing something right?

I seem to be having difficulty with the bobbin under the needle. The thread gets tied into knots. Then the needle is unthreaded. I can't find any information related to this problem. Can you help me please?

A:

You need to adjust the tensioner for the upper needle looser as well as make sure it is properly threaded. (Thread with swing arm up). Its called “thread bunching” look it up pk google as far as bobbin it must metal.

which is the better machine the se400 or the se600. I am looking for a combination sewing embroidery machine. The se400 has more reviews but that doesn't mean it is the better machine I'm guessing it could be prince
